A native of Miami, Floirida, I began my court reporting career in 1980 after attending college. “Have machine, will travel” was my motto early on, and I have had the privilege of reporting in Hawaii, Central America, South America, Europe, and The Bahamas, where I worked with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Now I call Glascock County, Georgia home and Augusta Scribes my home away from home. My husband Dennis and I are very proud of our daughter, Ariel, who is now attending Georgia Southern University, leaving us at home with our dogs Taz Bo and Cinnnamon, and our cat, Kitty Cat, which were rescued from shelters. Traveling and renovating our 1800s home is how we like to spend our spare time.
